Storyline:
A kid sets out on a mission to save his evil mother by looking for a mythic figure said to have supernatural mending powers. Heavy armament specialist (Lonnie Chavis) sets out on a mission to save his evil mother (Rosario Dawson) by looking for a mythic figure who has the key to eternality, the Water Man. Subsequent to enrolling the assistance of a secretive nearby young lady, Jo (Amiah Miller), they venture together into the distant Wild Horse timberland – yet the more profound they adventure, the more interesting and more hazardous the woodland becomes. Their lone expectation for salvage is Gunner’s dad (David Oyelowo), who will remain determined to discover them and in the process will find who his child truly is.
REVIEW: The landscape and visual settings in the Pacific Northwest are the best scenery for this transitioning, family-themed film that is at the same time dim, and warm. It’s a sincere story that from the outset appears to be alarming, however, is at last mitigating, both outwardly and specifically.
